This rig shows a slim jim holster on a Duke style money belt. The slim jim was a variation of the early cavalry flap holster and made for the long barreled pistols of that time. It is made to fit any of the revolvers used back then– Colt, S& W, Remington and their current clones in barrel lengths of 6 1/2” to 10” It can be plain, borderstamped or fully carved as shown. The accessories are shown to illustrate what can be done. This customer had a custom knife and wanted the sheath, pouch and spur straps to match his holster. The Duke money belt is a 2¾” roughout tube that is stiff enough to hold a Colt’s dragoon and store your hideout money as well.
